The problem is the one lady is of the 'don't know, don't care, and don't want to know or care' attitude.  Seriously, something like this makes me think that maybe we should cull certain segments of the herd...

I saw this video a few months ago, it seems to me.  What struck me when I first saw it was how commonly I encounter the type.

    1.  Some folks think their opinion or request somehow carries authority with it.

    2.  Some folks think that their definition of polite society should be enforced, but don't think they are themselves out of line when they start to swear, become belligerent, or get into someone else's personal bubble.

    3.  Some folks think their Prius makes them morally superior.

    4.  Some folks are willing to ignore the environmental consequences of owning a Prius.

    5.  Some folks think they should be able to tell you what to do with your own property.

    6.  Some folks think they have a right to determine what other people "need" and can put limits on you because of it.

    7.  Some folks believe they know what is best for other people's children.

One of the prices you pay for freedom is that you will encounter people who disagree with you--sometimes on everything.  I can live with that.  There is at least one mouthy, bulbous woman who apparently can't.
Freedom trumps fear.  Rights trump security.  Free will trumps order.

I would have sat there and blipped the throttle randomly every 15-30 seconds, popped my driving mix into the vehicle's sound system, lowered the windows and cranked up the volume.

But that's me, and why I need my wife to be my better half.

Until SHE gets pissed off.  Then watch out!

She went there becasue it was quiet? I have trouble believing that any place that woman goes stays quiet for long.
My website is back! It features over 100 pieces of fan fiction set in the Star Trek, Star Wars and Warhammer 40,000 universes.

There sure is a whole lotta crazy runnin' around loose.  :facepalm

I'd bet that woman is gonna attack somebody one of these days...and feel perfectly justified in doing so.
And she's gonna be upset at being arrested for it.  :bash

This is one reason I don't leave the woods often, people like this exist and occasionally they make contact with me and I have a very hard time being civil :)

Metallica (Black, of course)... At high volume.  Anything to drown out that b____'s grating voice, and obnoxious litany of stupidity.  Then I'd have knocked her on her fat ass, when she accosted the wife...  If I had a wife.
ArizonaStupidity cannot be cured with money, or through education or by legislation.  Stupidity is not a sin, the victim can't help being stupid.  But stupidity is the only universal capital crime; the sentence is death, there is no appeal, and execution is carried out automatically and without pity.  RAH

I saw that a while ago. My favorite part is when she asks him what he does for a living. It's like he has to prove why he needs a big truck.  If it were up to idiots like her there would be a government form to fill out when buying anything bigger than a four door.  :facepalm

There are people that think like that, or worse.

There are people that think that all SUVs and sports cars should be siezed and crushed.

There are people that think that the government needs to make gas cost $10+ a gallon like in Europe

I don't THINK I'll ever have to face down routers in the streets.

I should hope not. Mobs of rogue woodworking tools would suck to repel.

Unbelievable.   :facepalm    I think it would have forced me to retrieve a sun grown robusto from the glove compartment and fire it up on the spot just to calm my nerves.   Then she could be downwind of two kinds of second hand smoke.   >:D    Then I would ask her if she came there because it was quiet, how much noise do we have to make before she leaves?
