Hi all...

I wanted to introduce myself. I just found out about this forum from a youtube vid w/Larry Correia and Mike Kupari. I figured that this is where they started writing their books I would find like minded ppl here.

Currently I am in the Austin TX, area. Its ok, the food is good and most of the people are nice. The gun laws are really good. I like to call myself a California refugee.
Spent most of my time bouncing around the Mountain West, NM, UT, CO, UT, WY, NM. Spent that time in the USAF w/a couple overseas assignments.

Having had been stationed in UT, in 2008 I got an RobArm XCR. I have a lot of experience w/the AR platform and I wanted something different. So I got an XCR-L and I haven't looked back. Glock is the pistol of choice, however a Sig has found its way into my collection. Anyway enough about me. I look forward to meeting you all.

Thanks for your service to our country. Mr. Correia and Mr. Kupari are very well thought of around these parts and not just for their exemplary skill at the writer's craft.

Moderately old guy signing in from the Middle East. Ex-Tanker. Contractor, been over here pretty much since 2004, very little time stateside since then. Spent a bit of time as an Armorer but I'm not claiming to be a gunsmith nor do I think I know it all...just enough to have an idea or two and be dangerous.

HI ALL!I am a new 1 here and getting use to the forums but I am a highly known for my shooting where I live.Guns are my life and been shooting since I was 8 and I learned from the firearm tht my father killed himself with on Thanksgiving day which was a Remington TargetMaster .22 that was a straight shooting rifle that belong to my 1st 2 oldest brothers and dropped to the 2nd 2 down the next 2 which we are in pairs with 2 years difference in age.

My best was with a Howa Model 1500 wit ceramic coating Mossy Oak Cammo and B&C stock with 3x9x40 Simmons mounted drilled in at 200 yards at 1 1/2 inches high for 750 yard shots all day with 150 grain Winchester Ammo.Shoot 4 inch sporting clays as targets and that's a good target if you know your rifle,also did some fair distance with a 6.5x55 Swedish Kimber Sporterized with 6 inches of the barrel cut by them and new safety to accommodate a scope mount to the receiver.

I had more than just those but now I have a SLR-95 AK47 bought right and over half what they cost new and this 1 is new with 2 clips a 10/30 to shoot with.I love the way it fits and shoots but am going to build an AR-15 and ARM10 just as soon as I can for the kicks of rifle shooting.Its not uncommon for me to go thru around 3000 rounds per week and sometimes less depending on the time of the year.

Avid hunter and fisherman loving the outdoors and from a wheelchair as a result of an incident that happened and shouldn't have leaving me a para for life age 15.That was almost 2/3rds of my life ago so its nothing to me to get around driving,swimming,hand fishing,seng digging or wheeling thru the woods.

I may end up selling the AK since I did it to just help out a friend and he didn't like it and sold it to me for a good time since I like guns and love to shoot.I hope to be of help and/or assistance if needed by anyone for anything.
