Texas expat currently living in PA, grew up shooting handguns and carbines, spent the last couple of years getting into C&R guns (Mosins and Enfields, mostly), Military-style weapons (AKs and ARs) and shotties.

Newbie from North Carolina saying HI!
I'm a North Caroloina CCW instructor, plus NRA Pistol, Rifle ,shotgun,and Florida CCW. Just moved here recently from Florida and I am also a former Texas Peace Officer. My favorite carry is a Kimber Pro Carry II or any one of my 5 Colr 1911's. I like many of you look forward to 2012, when we can take back the Government. Be well and Be safe.

Better double check your pockets then. Those doggies raid my purse regularly for anything edible in there. Your pockets were either eight feet off the floor or the cookies are long gone

Howdy all. I'm Garry, or ArfinGreebly pretty much everywhere that I'm a member. Some of you will know me from THR.

In another life, I did a term in the USAF. In yet another life, I did some volunteer work, mostly overseas, for about ten years.

I've only been shooting for about four years, which is a little like saying I've only been a heroin addict for four years. The difference is you can get good at shooting. And I will. Just give it some time.

Like Larry, above, I guess I'm the new guy here.

I see the place is in good hands.

Hello, all!

Finally decided to register for the board; found it because I read Larry's blog. And read his book... multiple times. (please do NOT remind me that the sequel won't be out for a while... my dentist hates it when I grind my teeth).

Anyway... about me. Owned guns since I turned 21 and the great state of NJ graciously allowed me to do so. Mostly pistols and rifles. One token shotgun for deer season. I'm an NRA RSO and an Instructor with Project Appleseed. Most of the time I hang out on either www. appleseedinfo.org or www. northeastshooters.com.

Other hobbies include riding my Beemer ('86 R80RT) and FreeMasonry. Been a Mason for just over 20 years now, and I'm slowly getting some of my Lodge Brothers into shooting.
