Hello...I'm Ryan.  I'm a 15 year Marine Infantryman (just re-enlisted for my last time, looking forward to retirement).
I found this site, by listening to old episodes of Gunfighter Cast, and heard Mr. Hill discuss many topics.  All of which opened my eyes to things.

Hope to get a lot of great info from this site, as I am preparing to start my new career, as soon as I figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

Welcome to our more tranquil and respectful corner of the firearms community.  Lots of guys here who are teaching me good things constantly.  Each guy has a different perspective and no one claims superiority (except when I'm right).  That last part is just my poor attempt at humor.

Hey, thanks for the add.  Randy, Space coast Florida.  Got turned onto this group by an author, Michael Z Williams.  Currently have .45, a sig p938, couple of .357s,  44 spc, 12 gauge.  After hvaing my only gun stolen in a break in, I believe in having multiples, lol.  Looking at getting into the NFA game also.

Hello everyone.  Found this forum through Google searches on topics that interested me.  I'm glad to find a place where at least some people think for themselves instead of just re-hashing the latest tacticool generally accepted opinions.

Ordinary guy from middle Tennessee.  Big fan of wheelguns and large caliber.  Look forward to talking with you all.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

Hi my name is Mike, I go by webeable on most accounts so you may know me from elsewhere.  I live in Ohio, and have just started reloading, which is how I found this site.  Hope to learn much, and give any knowledge that I may know.  If anyone goes to the National shoots at Camp Perry let me know I will buy you an Ice Cream at Andy's if able to meet up there.

I go by Poohbah or Ken. I'm a USMC veteran (8 years, honorable discharge as a Sergeant, Aircraft Maintenance Admin Clerk). Conservative/libertarian, working in Navy HR (gotta pay the bills), and I have written a Kindle ebook--it's a military thriller set in the late Cold War (PM me if you are interested and I'll give you a link to the Amazon page). I live in southern California. Enjoy talking about guns, the military, world conflicts, books, and wargaming.
