Welcome to the family, Armydoc!
Texas
Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

I am new to the forum.

I've been raised around guns all my life and have raised my kids around them too.  We believe in gun safety and that gun control means a tight grouping at 15 feet.

In fact, my older son weeds out girlfriends by taking them shooting. If they wuss out, they are gone.

Welcome Ron. How'd you find us?

Here and there.  I thought I had registered a long time ago, but cannot remember my ID and my email didn't indicate an account already.

I remembered this place while listening to Uprising USA on audible.

Welcome Ron.  If your son's girlfriend criteria is any indication of his father's dedication the shooting fraternity, you'll do very well here!

I had signed into WTA awhile back, then got away from the internet for awhile as I was working alot.
I was reminded of this site when I got the email about the T shirt .... I am now the proud owner of that WTA
    shirt.
As I lurk around the site, I guess the friendly thing to do would be to say 'Howdy' from Colorado.
I've never really been a ' forum ' guy before but, so far, I like this place.
Thanks to those that contribute and to those responsible for the t-shirt !

MY WIFE grew up around guns and with long guns in her hands. She is not an avid shooter, but is not afraid of the guns around the house and is very comfortable opening a safe full of guns to get to important papers and what not.

My dad made sure my mom and sister could shoot and when he died, each of them was left with a gun (I got the rest).

    Yeah, we like our guns.

    Brand new here.

After years of following "The Ogre" on his blog, more recently FB, and the occasional peek in to WTA, I thought I should finally poke my head in here officially and say hello.

Hopefully, I will find ways to contribute to this great community.
