Okay... that's interesting... How did our site come about there?

It's a Christian-based preparedness site. Someone posted a thread asking what other forums people there liked to frequent, and some of the police officers recommended it. Then everyone lived happily ever after.

Recieved an ad from Cabela's featuring a 12g home defense load using "2x4" shot.  Did a google search on "2x4" shot and it directed me to one of the responses here.

My first post here now and I look forward to learning a lot from you guys (and gals)!

I fly glocks mostly and prefer .40.  If concealment is a supreme issue, then a Kahr Arms PM9 might hit the runway.  The rest of my alleged weaponry will remain unanounced and safely stored in a 600# humidity controlled safe.   :-X

Anybody out there in eastern Nebraska?

Well sir, we're looking forward to reading your posts, I'll assure you of that.  Welcome to WTA.
This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty. . . . The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction- St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries

Some one on the yahoo group sdshooters, (San Diego Shooters) posted a link to CA-legal 10 round mags for the Saiga-12.  That reminded me that FBMG used to have custom mags for Saigas.  Then I remembered that I had not been to the FBMG website in almost 3 years, so I googled FBMG.  Started coming up empty except for a bunch of THR/TFL threads asking what happened to FBMG.  Then I clicked on one of the THR threads, (Thinking, "Man, I haven't posted here in a couple years...") and there was a link posted by ArfinGreebly to this site.  I quickly realized that I had to register to go any further, and my curiosity drove me onward...

...although I swear I have at least heard of MadOgre, from THR or LiveJournal most likely. :hmm
