Updates and new stuff I'm working on;)
« on: November 16, 2019, 11:35:19 am »
So I've been working on a bunch of stuff lately from updating photos for the websites, actually bought a new camera and I've been starting to roll out some behind the scenes video projects from the shop. And still working on new designs and whatnot;) It's been a busy year;)

So paddle holsters, I never had a paddle I really liked. But recently I got to test a new version that is now released, and I designed some holsters around it and it's not ready to buy yet, but it's very close. So keep an eye out if you're looking for a good leather paddle rig it's coming soon. This is adjustable cant forward, neutral or rear with just a couple screws. So it covers some of those bases as well.

Here is the kydex version of it, or a version of it same paddle slightly different design overall:

And on the insulin pump holster front I've been working on the product shots and I moved that over to it's own site and social media etc, so https://t1secura.com is now all the pump stuff:

And Sarah has been working on her stuff as well;) She's done a few craft shows making homemade bread and laser engraving cutting boards and such:

And just as a family update with the baby and Eli and Maggie they are all growing up WAY too fast;) I shot these pics a few weeks ago when I was doing some product photos outside;)

So it's been a touch more crazy than usual this year, but it's going well. But very busy and I can't believe how quickly these kids are growing;)

Great pics Luke.  Thanks for sharing those with us.    :thumbup1   The paddle holster looks like the retention set-up is a bit more robust than some I've seen.  I have had some over the years and that was always their weak point to me.  Granted, a lot of it depends on the belt/trousers and also the weight of the gun but your design looks promising.

They are certainly growing quick, Eli is starting to really ask about helping in the shop and it's getting close to actually being able to help. Right now it's honestly still more work when he's out here yet, but it's getting closer;) They are all growing up all too fast though:)

So the paddle rig as a whole I'm still working on ideas and concepts but broadly speaking it's basically my field holster I designed with a different back on it;) But it's got a plate that runs between the two rear layers of leather with the hardware embedded into it to make sure it's solid and can't easily be broken and the plate is stitched into place(it's a oversized piece of kydex). So I'm going to order some new hardware for the mount, the stuff I'm using is fine but I'm going to step up one size in fastener and I'm going to order some with a flat head on them since the ones I'm testing with need a finish washer of sorts to make the heads large enough to bite properly when adjusted. It works as it stands, but a few different bits of hardware and a couple changes and it should be ready to go;)
