Strict Scutiny & 2nd Amendment issues
« on: July 19, 2019, 08:14:16 pm »
Ran across this very readable law review article which argues that minority disarmament thoughout the history of our Republic, is one of the stronger arguments for Strict Scrutiny  in Second Amendment issues.

Neither short nor excessively long, this well written article is indeed an eye opener!    :coffee

Well reasoned and extensively footnoted.   The practice of disarmament via legislative fiat is as old as civilization.  The fact that it persists to this very day should come as no surprise to anyone.  What is surprising is the number of seemingly intelligent and reasonably well educated people who see nothing at all wrong with this approach to what they consider a problem.
