Winchester 1300 price check
« on: January 29, 2010, 07:08:02 PM »
Local shop got in a gently used Winchester 1300, synthetic stock, and 24" VR barrel. I can probably go back with cash and be out the door for $300. Worth it?

I had a 1300 before and liked it, but sold it to a guy on TFL.

1200's and 1300's seem to be going for outrageous prices these day.  I personally wouldn't pay it, but if it is what you want, that price seems to be in line.

How much would you pay for it if you had to buy one?

CaliforniaThere are many like it, but this one is mine.

$225-250 depending on the condition and return policy.

Hmmm.  And I suppose you are talking about the Defender model?

No, just a working 1300 in VG or VG+.

Yeah, I suspected it was a little high, but I've always favored the 1200/1300 over the 870 and 500.

My father and grandfather like the Winchesters too.  Like I said the prices seem to on the high side for these recently.  If it's what you want, I'd get it. They aren't making anymore...
