Hey the KSG is ambidextrous. I just put one on hold, should get one of the first batches through davidsons... I may have to transfer that one to myself though  :neener

    checked the manufacture's web site...

+1 "rugged" shell deflector for left handed shooters....
-1 $279  "on sale", $359 MSRP.....(I guess maybe -0.5 being that the KSG is going for about twice that it seems, but you still need a shotty to begin with)

me thinks me goes into wait and see mode.....

Very interesting... I've got a couple extra 870s lying around, one of which has a 30" barrel and an 11 shot magazine tube...

Anybody seen/played with one of these in person? How's the quality?

Some great form she has going on there also.
I want a bullpup shotgun SO bad.
I know there was a conversion for the 500 at one point, but I have heard VERY little good about it... and have never seen one in person.

Hold out for the Keltec; that's what I am going to do.  If the gun gets favorable reviews, and if they manage to keep the price point reasonable, I do intend to buy one.

I already have a Benelli M2 Tactical, so the combat shotgun hole in my arsenal is already filled.  Therefore, the purchase will be for no other reason than to reward innovative thinking in the firearms industry.

That's one. Some of the AK bullpup kits are compatible (with more/less work, depending) with the Saiga shotguns, too.

ETA: And I haven't seen any evidence that anybody's actually got one of the Kushnapup kits in-hand, except for the guy(s) taking pre-orders.

I think what the industry is going to be flooded with in the coming month is either bullpup conversion (like the example in the OP), or projects/products several companies have had on the back shelf for years. I think what we're seeing here is either "early band wagoners" or companies who are hoping Kel-Tec takes the proverbial bullet on this idea-if it fails, only Kel-Tec has taken the brunt of it.

I'd put money on (at some point) someone drawing a line between the KSG and the HS-10 to the extent of "it didn't work then, it won't work now". According to many things I've read, the HS-10 was problematic and prone to failure. Dollars to Pesos that ONE FARKING FAILURE will doom this innovative shotgun in the eyes of many bleeding traditionalists.
