Question about ghost loading, since I just got a 930 and haven't shot it yet.
So let's say there's one in the chamber, one on the lifter, and a full tube. I either clear or fire the first round, which ejects, and the floating round gets chambered. There is no longer, and will not be in the future, a shell floating on the lifter, correct? After the first two rounds, the gun operates normally with no ammo between the tube and the chamber?
If I have that right, I'd go with Coyote's idea.
What I've done in the past (on my 1100) is load the slug(s) into the tube, burn one into the berm, and carry on.
But that's competition.
