Lots of mouths to feed. Should probably apply for food stamps at this point......... :-[

That's a problem I'd like to have.

Yes, those are Finnish arctic birch stocks.  They're two piece and the splice is at the middle.

You can tell if they're wartime if the "fingers" are rounded.  If they are squared off, they're post-war stocks.  Both of my stock are war time but in really great shape.

For some reason my new SAKO has this weird oval wood piece on either side of the splice. I've never seen that before but it does not look like a repair, per se.

I didn't wanted to start a new thread. So I'm posting it here, as it's a short barreled rifle by your law.
    For me, it's a X-mass gift.
Bit beaten, but OK, it saw some action at middle east before it got here. Giggle switch was deactivated,   :(   but still shoots from the open bolt.

BTW: Happy New year 2014 WTA !!! :)

H2O Man, I've always loved those Daewoos and would love to get a K1A1 one of these days.  SWEET rifle!  I'm not really a fan of the Rogue chassis though...

That's ridiculous. Surely, this must be a joke  :facepalm.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.
Ray Chapman, used to say that the 125-grain Magnum load’s almost magical stopping power was the only reason to load .357 instead of .38 Special +P ammunition into a fighting revolver chambered for the Magnum round. I agree. - Massad Ayoob

For this crowd, I'm pretty pedestrian, I guess...sort of.

Not quite your normal bolt action carbine... :cool

I get looks on this one all the time. Always fun to say, no, it's NOT an AK.  ;)

What kind of rifle is that?

I take it Iraq made SVDs?

    What is this one?

You have quite the collection there.

I would like to get one of those with a 20" barrel and the green stock. How do you like yours?
