"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Thomas Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria in Chapter 40 of "On Crimes and Punishment", 1764

We had Starz free for a few months right when it came out. We watched the first season. Not sure if they have done more than that.

I wasn't a big fan of the Evil Dead movies, but Army of Darkness was awesome. Bruce Campbell is one of my favorites. That's the reason I started watching Burn Notice, because he's in it.

Season 2 is just starting, added a 7 day trial for starz on my Amazon account to binge watch the first season.

Gotta like Bruce, back in my boozing days evil dead 2 was our 2am bar close movie when we got back to the dorm. Probably seen it a thousand times but not once sober.

He also had that "Brisco county Jr" series back in the '90s.

I started watching Burn Notice for the same reason, but it started getting a bit repetitive.

I have nothing to add to this thread other than, I love burn notice. Of all the weak chinned, silver tongued con-men that I look up to, Michael Westen is my favourite  :neener.

Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

I watched the first season here in the UK and am passing the time waiting for season 2 (which should be available any time now) by re-watching it on DVD.

Just going to put this here. Of course it's totally unsuitable for work, home or anywhere in the presence of people who aren't already unhinged due to language, violence and gore.
