What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West
Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech.  Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent.  And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.
Result Breakdown:
100% The West
95% The Midland
63% Boston
59% North Central
42% The South
19% The Inland North
13% Philadelphia
9% The Northeast

I got "The West".  Makes perfect sense because all things considered, people from AZ don't have accents.  My mom is from NY and dad is from TX so....

Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Duh... now to go get a sack of sliders and a pop....

Funny...When I talk people ask me if I was raised in the south because of the drawl. It is much more accentuated the faster I talk.

It says I'm from Philly. And if I'm not, I'm from somewhere close like Baltimore.

Mine says I'm from up north so apparently that's right;) Everyone say's my yooper accent is much more noticeable after a couple beers, but really it changes a bit everywhere we traveled, down south I'd end up with a little drawl from Texas etc. So I guess I kind of pick up bits of where ever I happen to be;)

Midwest?

Uhm . . . no.  I've been to DC two or three times, and spent a week in Minneapolis once.  Other than that. Oregon.

Oh.  Wait.  Mid . West . Oregon.   Okay.  That works.  I've only lived east of the Cascades for one summer.  Otherwise, over a half century within 120 miles of where I was born.

Mine said 'Inland North' - which is totally off.  Personally, I try very hard not to pick up the dreaded 'Pittsburghese.'

For instance, when you move to Pittsburgh, the word 'wash' becomes 'wosh,' then 'worsh,' and then 'wursh.'  :facepalm

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

Nope, I don't call soda pop, and have lived right outside of DC my whole life. So that is weird.

I got Inland North as well

I have never really even been there.  My real accent is weird and does not sound typically Hispanic.

I saw this one and took it too. Now I'm really confused.

You are 57% Georgian!!

You may be from the south, but you aint from Georgia! Now go back down to Florida and stop crowding out our interstates and forcing our restaurants to serve unsweet tea!

But I really do like my tea sweet. I promise.

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Northeast
Judging by how you talk you are probably from north Jersey, New York City, Connecticut or Rhode Island.  Chances are, if you are from New York City (and not those other places) people would probably be able to tell if they actually heard you speak.
Result Breakdown:
94% The Northeast
87% Philadelphia
85% The Inland North
60% The Midland
54% The South
38% Boston
18% The West
2% North Central

I guess Binghamton could be considered the north east.   :coffee
