It's not that tough,  I've done it before.  Not much harder than building an AR if you have have the right wrench and vise.   I'd lend you my tools, but I lent them to my uncle down in Florida so he could put one together.

Your best bet for finding one pre-built is the classified forum on the FAL files.   Or maybe try one of the FAL smiths like Arizona Response Systems.  He has inch parts for sale on his site,  you could probably have him build you a gun out of what he has.

    Falfiles is a good place.

    A NICE L1A1 clone sold for $850 the other day....I curse the fact I didn't buy it........I wanted to....but I curbed the impulse.

      Worth watching for 6-8 months as tons of FAL's float through their marketplace
