Title: Welcome to Tavania Comrades!
Post by: Roper1911 on January 04, 2017, 11:54:02 pm
so for the last week I've been playing ArmaII DayZ: origins, (192.99.18.174:4412) (discord: https://discord.gg/Dse2WaR)
I figured I'd run this like Nightcrawlers DayZ adventures.

I spawned first on the far edge of the map, near Gorka, I don't have any screenshots of my first life because it was basically just running, screaming for my life as the 12 zombies I almost immediately aggro'd sprinted down on me. after finally losing them in martin, I nabbed a FAMAS(military weapons are kinda rare...) and bumped into Ivan. your friendly neighborhood super zombie who fought in Ukraine and had to have his skull replaced due to a horrible accident involving a herring, landmine, and six cups of pudding. naturally they replaced his skull with a forged AR500 brainbucket. rendering him FLUFFING IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL. (It's a lore thing. he drops the cure after a few shots from an RPG.) so my entire first life was running, screaming, and bleeding.

second life I choose to spawn near an area called "seven"

Seven is a nice, calm suburb. to the east on this peninsula is Blato and Vodice, both similar residential areas with some farms. lots of shotguns and ammo spawn here, occasionally you get lucky and find a scorpion. here I'm pictured after finding a double barrel and some survivors clothes. neither very rare loot.
after rummaging for an hour or two in blato, I worked over to seven, looking for more ammo or guns to nab before heading up north to Branibor. the going was rough and loot was thin, worsened by me needing to shoot several shamblers who got too nosy. shortly before giving up and running north to better picking grounds, I swung in to the last shack. I ransacked the joint, finding some ammo and a Scorp(!) with three fully loaded 20 round mags! these usually don't spawn in the houses. so someone had dumped them for something.
their loss. the Scorp is still my go to gun because it's quite, and has a lot of ammo. and then....

are those?

stripper boots?
(yep. they are. I can't wear them because I'm a dude though)

after I got over not being able to wear my stripper boots, I went to Vodice, thinking that "hey, what can it hurt." the sever reset on the way over and my mags refilled for some reason, all of them. so I was now sitting At 60 rounds for the skorp, 34 for my Glock (the spawn gun) and 8 for the thunderstick. Vodice was rather barren, two zombies, and an empty office.
but hiding in the set-piece houses-

A JUNKMACOPTER! (later informed it's called a Praga. it's the fastest and most agile chopper. why? because it's so much uglier then a normal chopper, so it has better repulsive powers.)
sadly the thing was out of gas. and I was short a jerrycan to tank it up. so I had to abandon it.
finally heading north, I immediately ran into six zombies and died less then a kilometer from spawn because they can run indoors sometimes and I was out of bandages.

bleg. Life 3.
I ran back, recovered my gear, and killed the zombies. picking through the barn and industrial building near where I died. finding an 1866 Winchester and 45 cartidges (12 gauge for some reason? I thought the 1866 was  typically in .44-40.) I ditched the N00btube and continued north. ending my day at the top of a tower. overlooking my destination.

i can smell the loot now.

I'm going to need to run back through bran because I completely forgot to take any screenshots.
Not that I really mind, bran is full of gas stations and stores. And I can never have enough water.

It's weird--I have no desire to play DayZ, but I love watching other people play it. I enjoyed your shenanigans too.  :clap
