A black girl, singing a love song to a beloved children's book.

Yes, her dark, big eyes are captivating, but the lyrics, the tune, the injection of love of literacy...

    My current jam:

IllinoisAfter a shooting spree, they want to take the guns away from everyone who didn't do it.

    -William Burroughs

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

That one is groovy too!  But i really dig the message behind Cut the Cord, especially viewing it from a political Right/Conservative perspective - its time to cut the (nanny state) cord!

quote from Brent Smith Billboard interview:
“‘Cut The Cord’ is a wake up call reminding us all that we can control our own destiny by finding the courage and tenacity to destroy whatever it is that’s holding us back. The process may not be pretty or perfect or even easy, but absolutely necessary. The song is brutally honest and unapologetic, which is what Shinedown has always been.”

    I'm down with that!

Yeah, I get it, you're an outcast

    Oh my, here we go

    Another lose cannon gone bi-polar
Slipped down, couldn't get much lower
Quicksand's got no sense of humor
    I'm still laughing like hell

You think that by crying to me
Looking so sorry that I'm gonna believe
You've been infected by a social disease
    Well, then take your medicine

I created the sound of madness, wrote the book on pain
Somehow I'm still here to explain
That the darkest hour never comes in the night
You can sleep with a gun
When you gonna wake up and fight for yourself?

I'm so sick of this tombstone mentality
If there's an afterlife then it'll set you free
But I'm not gonna part the seas
    You're a self-fulfilling prophecy

You think that by crying to me
Looking so sorry that I'm gonna believe
You've been infected by a social disease
    Well, then take your medicine

I created the sound of madness, wrote the book on pain

5FDP says "I was born, a shotgun in my hands"
Bad Company says "Oh I was born 6-gun in my hand"

5FDP says "Deserters we've been called"
Bad Company says "Deserters we are called"

5FDP says "The death punch sound is our claim to fame"
Bad Company says "6-gun sound is our claim to fame"

5FDP says "And that's why they call me"
Bad Company says "I can hear them say"

    5FDP ends out with

    "Eye for an eye

    We've all gotta die
    We've all gotta die

    Dirty for dirty

    Oh Somebody Double-crossed me
    Double-cross
    Double-cross
    Yeah

    We're Bad company
    Kill in cold blood"

yes. i really like this song.

lynyrd skynyrd or shinedown, doesn't matter.
I still sing along with the chorus.

Ah yes the Glock 60 in .50BMG. Only sold in Europe and not for US import. You need to go to Brownells and buy that special extractor with the larger, heavier claw and the thicker ejector to fix that.
