Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

Another one of my favorites.  Not the best rendition ever... I have an awesome one on my phone, but youtube does not have it.

I have a great recording of Orff's Carmina Burana w/ the London Symphony Orchestra and Choir.

Closest I ever got to performing it was Ritter's Gloria, which is nice, but doesn't have the same oomph to it.

For a while, I was really into Arvo Part's work...

:shocked That was like silent hill, but with guitars.

Here's some metal you requested. I typically don't get into the heavy stuff.

Not sure what that was... but that's not Heavy Metal.   Or any Metal.   That would be like saying Cold Play is Heavy Metal.
     :hmm
Not even sure if that's Rock.

I disagree. If in most circles, system of a down and disturbed can be considered heavy metal, then at the very least Smith street band is punk rock. But I would like to credit it as metal. The good news is that now when I get some time, I'm going to try to hunt you down some 'actual' metal.

Crunchy. not bad. a little less melodic then I take my metal. but the second one had excellent clean vocals by that young lady.
reminds me of underoath and august burns red.

and back to the music now.

okay- this one. watch it twice. first without looking at the video. then while watching the video.
the video has nothing to do with the music. nothing. but it's hilarious. the lead singer added in a commentary

I've put some Gillian Welch stuff up here before - in the murder ballad thread.

Great stuff. Her voice and David Rawlings' blend incredibly well, and he is a damn good guitar player.  If you can catch them live, do so. They're incredible.
