I wish train travel was a better option around here. In order to take one, you have to get on at Newton in the middle of the night, and you can only go towards Southern California (blech!), or you have to backtrack all the way to Chicago to get on one of the other Amtrak lines.
It would be awesome to take the train down to San Antonio when we go to LoneStarCon 3 later this summer. And yes, my wife wants to dress up like Sheldon and Amy for one of the days we are at the convention. I'm not normally a costume guy, but I agreed since it was fairly easy one for me to do. I'm pretty much a slightly less crazy version of him anyway. My wife and family always like to tease me about it. I've managed to tone down the crazy antisocial and autistic behavior somewhat as I've got older, but it's downright spooky when I watch the show sometimes. I'm also roughly the same height and weight as Jim Parsons. The only thing I really needed to do was buy a Flash t-shirt. I'll make sure to get a picture when we are there.
