Saw this gem today at work

So I was looking for a customer's Crimson Trace special order and saw this.

First off, this is funny because not only is this customer rocking a Hi Point, but he also is adding to it's value by adding the exclusive HP laser.

It also seems that they left off number six on the instructions.
6. Throw pistol in the trash.

I'd keep the laser to use when I'm messing with cats or fish... but I'd toss the HP into a lake.

When I was still pretty new to shooting, I bought a Hi Point from a guy at work as a gift for my (then) 19 year old son.

It's never malfunctioned, and he's more accurate with it than I am with my XD40.

One of these days I'm hoping to help him upgrade, but I'm greatly encouraged that he shoots it as well as he does.

Wish I could have afforded something better.  It'll do the job for now though.

Yeah, I would never buy a Hi-Point, but if one was given to me, I'd keep it. They have a reputation for terrible ergonomics, but they tend to function.

If nothing else, it would be a great gun to hand a new shooter, after they experience a quality gun. "Now, the gun you were shooting can be found used for about $400. Let's say you want to be a cheap SOB and only spend $100. This is what you will get."
