Ancestors - Viking rpg

I'm not much for playing video games but the trailer for this one made me feel right there in the action and had a surprise ending, at least for me. Pretty cool. And gritty.

Trailer looks great, but it's a RTS game :hmm.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

My first thought during that opening sequence was, "No, boy!  This is no day to be close to land!"

That, and, "How are they keeping the fire arrows lit in that rain?"

This is the one I really want to sink my teeth into.  If only I had the budget for full-price new games anymore.  Which I don't...

That looks pretty good. I like that everyone isn't in all black and leather. There's actually some colors being worn. The sword fighting looks good too.

Agreed.  It looks to be richly textured.   :thumbup1

I was pumped for the skull and bones trailer, until I saw it was from ubisoft.

Hard pass. I won't let their software on my computer.

    What's RTS?

Real time strategy game. Most every RTS I am familiar with, you never play in first or third person, it's all birds eye view.

Think the difference between Halo 3 and then Halo wars. Two completely different games.
