The Limited Edition IGF Combat Fighting Knife

Ted Frizzell's IGF Combat Fighting Knife has always been one the most popular of the MMHW Bowies and Large Combat knives. Designed by Ted with the professional in mind this is a somewhat scaled down personal carry version of that knife.

Each knife is 13 inches long with a 7 inch blade and a ground; but, not sharpened 5 inch long clip or false edge [see Note below]. 2 ¼ inches wide at the guard. Weighs a bit over 1 pound with our standard Kydex sheath.

    It was a gift to me from the person who Richard made it for. He actually received 2 from Richard and passed one on to me a few years back. I really should have  another sheath made since I'm not a lefty, but then I don't plan to use it since it can't be replaced.

    It appears that you can just simply switch the teklok to the other side for right hand carry

    *nods* You should be able to undo those two phillips heads, and move the clamping assembly to the other side of the sheath, to carry it right handed...

    If you can't swap the clip it would be super easy for someone with access to kydex to be able to make something up for you if they have the sheath in hand. For that matter if you can't find someone to do it and need it just shoot me a note.

    I wonder what he knapped that blade out of.  Obsidian doesn't come in those colors. Fiber optic material does, but I've never seen it in such a large size.

    Uh... That's ugly as hell.   Crude and Brutal - I like that.  But it's a bit too... Well... It looks like a Klingon sex toy.

    Also there's this blade that reminded me of Fallout 4.

    I made this knife from an old anchor bolt from a bridge. The nut is the pommel the guard is the washer that I made oval. It took me half a day to get it this flat and then I quenched it in oil. The finger grip is a nail and then I welded it together.

    Going to be adding some new schrade sheaths to the site before long but I got this in a box the other day;)

    Hard to tell scale in the pictures but that a 10in edge fairly good sized knife I'm digging it;)
