Apparently not.

We've got people who are just fluffing *pissed* - some for legitimate reasons, some not so much (I make no claims as to which is which).

But s___ like that doesn't belong in this century.

Harsh words and hurt feelings in that vid, just a shame  :bash.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

    Bud,

I have just 4 more years. December 1, 2020 is my official retirement date but I'm going to burn 6 months of sick and annual leave and punch out on July 4th, 2020.

I have plenty to do afterwards. I'm still going to stay in the PD reserves so I can stay on as armorer, Federal firearms instructor/range master and in SWAT as a sniper but only on my time and terms. I'm also going to teach part time at the Basic LE academy.

All that said, I just can't wait to be free to pursue some projects far and away from the LE world. But who knows what the next 4 years will hold? The last few weeks has me thinking all our cute lil' plans and day dreams may be for naught. I may just throw on my leathers, crank up my V8 Interceptor and roam the badlands hunting Toecutter and the boyz.

Good points in the video but as many others have pointed out - the dude is unnecessarily long winded.   I think that whole thing could have been boiled down to about 25 minutes or so with some judicious editing.

That is most likely true, although it wouldn't be a nutnfancy video if it weren't, as he says, "feature length".

I know that nutn is not the most popular on this forum (he beats Yeager's youtube channel by a smidge), but I am quite the fan of TNP. That being said, I used to really watch his videos frequently before I had adult s___ to do. Now days I'm either busy chasing my recreational pursuits outside of class, or when the school year is in session, well.... I don't have time for much of anything.

Any study of black liberation theology and political activism will make the pattern of recent events come clearly into focus.  It took the occasion of the first "black" president of the United States and his hand picked attorneys general to set the stage for the political activism/ terrorism we are currently experiencing.  Marxist/Leninist political thought is part and parcel of what you are seeing played out on the streets of America and it is but a means to an end.

    Your already seeing it.

Calls in the "hood",  will be responded to.
by multiple officers, including units just for cover.
since all calls in that area and that area includes any black neighborhood in any large city now,  that means calls will stack, and only the priority calls will get attention, due to lack of manpower.
That means that cops are walking into calls, KNOWING it's an ambush, and prepared to respond.  This will go beyond normal vigilance and awareness,  this has moved into patrols into the Haj, knowing that the local population is being used to hide attackers, Mao's fish in the ocean.  Knowing that if there are 30 people watching you, at least 3 of them are active enemy combatants.
Knowing that while many, if not most, are simply watching, for the drama and entertainment value, but that they won't say or do anything, for fear of their lives and their families lives.  Cause they live there, and the killers live there, and the cops are like our troops overseas,  they come in, they do something, they leave and if anyone says anything, the one that spoke will die and so will their family.  and no one will say anything or do anything.

adrenaline of the moment ?  tragedy waiting to strike?  There is no way around it,  It will happen, and it will happen multiple times.
of course, the other side is, when ANYTHING happens,  how can you possibly believe what you see and read on social media and the news sources ?  You've had demonstrated to you time and time again that what your being told is, at best, edited to make good drama, and at worst, a flat out lie.  So, we won't even know if it really was a tragedy, or a response to an attack,  if the person(s) killed were the attackers or innocent bystanders.

Folks, we're losing the war on terror, right here on our streets, right now.

and everything we are seeing, every piece and part is just an element of The Plan. the entire plan is based on the Federal government taking over everything, taking control of lives, taking away any means of revolt, and Nationalizing local law enforcement and putting it all under the control of the President, Attorney General and Department of Justice.

Very well said Chief. I'm waiting for the IED's to start.

I'm encouraging my son to stay on the nuclear asset retrieval/hostage rescue team he's on and not rotate back to an Infantry slot in the Fleet for his last two years. He wants to see combat though and he thinks that's the route. With as much specialized training as he's received I don't see the Corps allowing it but you never know. After the Corps, he wants to come back here and be a cop at my agency. The irony is he may avoid combat overseas just to find it here.

Yup.  The concerted effort to paint BLM, and others, as having some sort of legitimacy in any national conversation starts in the oval office and trickles down through the Dept. of "Justice"(?) and on to the usual suspects in the left wing media who are charged with carrying the water for the entire corrupt enterprise.  You need look no further than the video of sheriff Clark systematically destroying the entire narrative and the host of the program squealing like a stuck pig while trying desperately to get it back on track to confirm this.

    Correct.

I saw a man who was tired of burying his own, trying to have a conversation with a soulless puppet driven by political narrative  :coffee.

My heart goes out to Officer Clark, it really does. I know that the officer has more restraint than this, but I'm surprised he wasn't tempted to strike Mr. Lemon. I mean, you're in Clark's shoes, Don Lemon is literally fluffing with your uniformed family. There are a handful of jobs out there that have tight knit camaraderie and to my understanding, LEO falls under that umbrella.

People say exercise is a good way to get your heart rate up, but I argue that one can find no better way for raising the blood pressure than to be lectured to by a suit who has no experience, scope, or grasp of a situation and yet has all the hubris and perceived authority to "tell you how it is".

Sheriff Clark could have probably wounded him with a glance, maimed him with a gesture and killed him outright with just the force of his anger.  There was no inclination that Don Lemon even wanted to make eye contact with the sheriff during that exchange with the possible exception of going to a break and pleading with him to be allowed to get a word in edgewise.   Definitely a tutorial on how to get "owned" by your "guest".   Next time he'll have to wear a cowboy hat, some gloves and bring a rope and keep telling himself " All I have to do is hold on for eight seconds.  .  ." .    Twit.    :coffee
