This thread's reminded me: I've got to start working on my Uprising short story again.

George, when's the deadline for submissions again? End of April?
Maybe the end of the summer now.  Russia is kicking my ass.

Dude, I am half way through it now.  :clap It is a "bad ass motherfu##er". Zach and his honey are taking the fight to the red eye in Washington with Maclane and his men. While I am reading, I can see all of the sites and hear all of the moans. You have done one hell of a nice job here. I have read around 160 zombie books over the last 8 years and I have to say you Hill boys know your s___ when it comes to laying down a great zombie tale! :thumbup1

I read a lot, I try to average 100 books a year. Zach and George have really got an amazing talent. I would highly suggest getting Zach's other books. Behind the Shroud was based out of the Lexington/ Buena Vista Virginia area. If you have EVER been there, you will be able to follow the characters through the towns and place yourself there with them. He wrote it so well, I was able to smell the smells of the area, feel the breeze blowing and see the land marks he talks about. I cannot rave about the Hill's writing to enough people.

Medusa's Raft is most definitely worth grabbing.  I got it from a girlfriend a few Christmasses back, and Zack is awesome.

I'm not going to lie, I need to hear stuff like this occasionally.  Thank you so much.  I'm a story teller so if you like the story, I've done my job!  "Raft of Medusa" is no longer for sale until I re-edit it. I'll be re-editing all of my books eventually.

Been busy, on vaca to Mexico, have a lot of OT right now, have to do a pile of work on the house...haven't had time to write more. Got to get going again on Uprising: The Shadow Master Chronicles.
But if Zack can do it, so can I!
