I've sent the money.  Haven't sent the FFL yet though.  I figure that Coleburn having them in-hand is more important than me receiving them.

Not that I'm dragging my feet.  I'm just waiting to be sure this is a go.  A lot of things can happen between now and then.

Not to mention that my FFL will want serials I think.

Hmm. I was doing some figgerin' and plannin' ...

Too late to get in on this? If yes, no worries. If not too late, I'm down for one. I'll PM you the same question, MWC.

That's a good question, T.
Are they spec serials or a Coleburn Custom serial number such as CAWTASARR00001?

And for those who don't know, doing custom serial numbers is not technically difficult, but it takes time and therefor costs more money ... and in our current situation, where the maker could make another $10 per receiver (say), or spend that time churning out more receivers that they can sell at insane prices ... yeah, I doubt anyone is going to be getting custom S/Ns anytime soon. ;)

That's why I asked.
Oh by the way.
Found someone who can laser etch a custom logo or lettering on an aluminum receiver.
What's the vote for a custom etch for Larry's receiver?
This can be done for real cheap, under $40 bucks.

I'd throw in 5 or 10 bucks, depending on what was needed

I think the implication in the OP is that these are already made, or already queued up to be made.  I don't think custom serials are going to be realistic.

This is a pretty good deal guys, which Coleburn isn't profiting from.  Don't go trying to squeeze something else out of it.  It is what it is right now, hm?

T., I was just curious.
Didn't know how it was setup.
Mr. Manlybeard straightened it out for me.
The additional lower I was talking about was for Larry as a gift from all of US to him as a special WTA "Thanks for being so awesome!", mostly on my dime.
I'm going to purchase the lower from Coleburn, have the Laser Etch done here, then send it back up to someone, probably Gundoc, to give to Larry on our behalf.
Donations to be sent after the deed is done to cover cost of the lwr only.
I'd be paying for the shipping and etching on my part.

I think Larry, while I'm sure he would appreciate it, would be much more appreciative if you went and bought his books.  If you already have them all, buy another set or five and give them away.

Boosting his book sales ensures future publishing deals, thereby ensuring his livelihood.  Buying him a lower ensures he has so spend more money to make a working firearm.   ;)

I've got some leftover pine boards you can use. Anybody got a wood burning kit? Maybe we could do Correia's name next to a picture of a sheriff's star and a saddle or something?

that's ok. It's good if you did make profit.
Even at $100 each it would be a great deal.
Especially now.

How much longer do we have to get on board?  Or is this closed?  My future BIL and I are emailing each other, and he may want in, through me.
