I have a Browning BPS with a dented rib.  Would it be cheaper to have a replacement rib put on the exiting barrel or buy a new barrel for $245.00?

I'm thinking the new barrel would probably be cheaper, BUT cheaper still is to try one of these:

It must be really dented if it can't be fixed.  The rib on a Bps comes off pretty easy.
