Does anyone else think this is complete  ? Not only from the standpoint of a foreign MILITARY aircraft violating our borders without permission, but from the standpoint that DHS freaks out over US light aircraft in the wrong place but allows a foreign MILITARY aircraft to be in the wrong place without a response?  cussing

Okay . . . if it's true, then that's a serious issue. I don't care what they're doing, foreign militaries should NOT enter the United States without express permission from Congress and one hell of a good reason.

I've heard about this happening in other places along the border as well.  I remember a few years ago an interview on the radio with a local sheriff in Texas talking about observing a druge exchange along the border with a Mexican Army Hummer with turret gun guarding the rendevous.

We have Mexican millitary units, including aviation assets, crossing the border in support of drug operations. It has happened multiple times. Nothing has ever been done about it, and the MSM keeps quiet.


Yet, as Crash_AF notes, a Cessna generates an amount of terror and fear like nothing else...

There is the possibility that it was one of the good guys, US authourities were aware of it, and allowed it given the nasty drug wars going on in that area.  Outside chance, yes.  But possible.

Norse I'd say yes, IF we were running gun ships at the same time.  I just don't see the US Gov giving permission to other countries to do so if WE don't have boys in the air.  Of course with everything else thats been happening I wouldn't be suprised if that was the case...
