I have been told Knoxx is about the best (true?)

I found this one at eBay and wonder what everyone thinks about it:

Never mind

I started hearing Captain Picard reciting in my head" resistance is fu-tile" and I went ahead spent the xtra bucks for the SpecOp recol reducing collapsable stock

I have absolutely no will power when it comes to neat things.

If it had been shiney and you had to plug it in (and if none of neighbors had one) then I probably would have mortgaged the house to buy it

You won't regret it Bud!

Shooting with birdshot you wont' be impressed but put a 3" slug in there, get all tense, then shoot it and go "Wow, that was similar to the birdshot."

 I bought one of the Knoxx CompStocks for my 870.
 Absolutley love it.

George , many, many thanks both to you and Basin. Mine's done, doing the kid's next:



Had a few exciting moments doing the foreend. I have never taken an 870 apart before so there was a frantic search on YouTube for assembly of an 870.

Haven't decided on the side saddle yet, but leaning towards taking it off.

If I don't intimidate with the look, then 7+1 should be enough.

Looks awesome.
I'd say keep the Side Saddle.  It's quite functional even if it is less appealing to the looks.
