Sweeten' the ride

Meaning I really should save my money. But I'm a fool when it comes to firearms.

Justifcation.

I love the 10mm.

My last 1911 was back in 2003 (SA 9mm adj. rear sight). I was going to convert it to 9x23 but I had to sell it a year later. I needed the money. So it's been far too long since my last one.

I still have a DeSantis holster and double mag carrier.

I'm a freakin' idiot.

Oh, yeah, I really, really want one.  Devil LOL

Going to order it Tuesday and pick it up on Saturday. Can't wait!!!

Your in good company.

I was talking AR's and Class III with a buddy tonight. He just might have talked me into a Cav Arms lower to build a dedicated .22LR rifle. And I want to SBR it, to boot.

Talk about stupid. neener

I've always felt that the Delta Elite was a classic on its own merit.

Yeah, I had a blued one for a couple of years. Stupidly traded it for a BHP Practical back in late 96. But the Delta Elite was featured in my Mtv News: Unfiltered gun safety segment.

Actually it wasn't THAT stupid of a trade. The QC on mine was a bit off. The flats on the dustcover weren't exactly straight. Anyway, I carried that BHP Practical for 8 years.

But now it's time for another Delta Elite!

Well, I might end up with a new-to-me car this Saturday. If so I will put $300 on the Delta on my way home. I'll have to pay it off on my third visit.

Car payment = less gun money.

Just bought a new (to me) car. They wanted an extra thousand down so I put $200 down on the Colt. Gotta nickel and dime the rest.  But I should have it next month. May at the latest.

This is going to be my last gun for a while. Well, not including Black Sunshine. But that's mostly paid for. After this Delta it's just mags and accessories for what I already have.

The right to defend our lives and the lives of our loved ones is one of the "inalienable" rights our Founding Fathers deemed most precious. Some states have protected that right while others have neglected it. Knowing where states draw the line between your rights and the rights of those who seek to harm you, our family, or your property could be the most important knowledge of your lifetime. Stepping over the line could mean personal and financial disaster.
