Ok the crazy head of Iran has been "blah blah blah we hate amerika! blah blah blah we'll wipe israel off the map!  blah blah blah!"

But now he's putting a date to it?  Makes me want to be doubly sure of my ability to protect my family come Thursday.  We might wake up to a very different world.

Maybe just posturing, given the internal problems lately they have every reason to try and posture and rail about standing up to a foreign threat.

Probably not any type of attack, it'd be incredibly stupid of them to announce an intention to do something on a specific day.  When I first heard him say it I figured that it might be hinting at a nuclear test.

Meh, I'm not too terribly concerned. Sounds like more posturing to me. Maybe we'll see a new missile test; I doubt Iran has enough enriched uranium or plutonium to build a bomb yet.

Either way, the response will likely be as Daylight predicted; a weak, ambiguously-worded letter of condemnation, and maybe calls for sanctions from the UN.

The sad fact is that Israel has no friends left in the UN.  They are going to end up the #1 target by everyone in the region.  Hate to mention the bible, but it's pretty clear on that point. 
And the US will do nothing about it.  Americans, as a people may go over there to help fight.  But I don't see The USA as a Nation doing a bloody thing.

I personally think that in the short term what ever it is, it will amount to nothing. Down the road though I don't know. I am not seeing a happy ending comming down the road regarding Iran. I think that is a ticking time bomb, the only question I think is when is it going to go off and how big is it going to be?

No idea whether it will be on this Thursday or some other day because their credibility is long time lacking.

But make no mistake, they believe they will inherit the earth and the Prophet will return when they wipe Israel and us and all the other infidels out. They will not care who or how many they kill.

Even if our limp wristed leadership turns the other cheek, we will be affected.

We should be aggressively supporting any insurgency that is happening there.
