Can anybody help with this. Picked it up at a garage sale some time ago. The top edge has small serrations that extend about 1"(upper right corner). The area under the paracord has a bottle opener. There is a wire stripper (the small v on right side), a "back cutter" (the large v left side), and a 3 wheel glass cutter (under the small screw at bottom right). On the otherside are stamped "Survival - Tool", and on the pictured side is a "PAT" #. Anybody got any information? Thanks

Yes, it would hurt. You could also lash to a stick and make a pretty effective axe. It really is very versitile but I really would like some background. Can't find it anywhere on the internet. Thanks for the comment.

I've seen these before at some fleamarkets years ago... sold for about 10 bucks a pop.  No information, sorry.

I think it was invented by Dale R. Rogers (Fayetteville, NC) in 1973.  It was called "Survival Hand Weapon".

RevDisk,
Thank you for the info. Gives me a place to start.
GeorgeHill,
I think you may have seen copies. The individual I got it from said it was about $50 when he bought it 14-15 years ago. But he may have been mistaken. I have never seen them for sale anywhere. Thank you for the input.

The right to defend our lives and the lives of our loved ones is one of the "inalienable" rights our Founding Fathers deemed most precious. Some states have protected that right while others have neglected it. Knowing where states draw the line between your rights and the rights of those who seek to harm you, our family, or your property could be the most important knowledge of your lifetime. Stepping over the line could mean personal and financial disaster.
