I just tested out the new ST-1 treatment on my Stag (yes I still have it...no one's bought it yet) here is my findings after playing with it this morning. You know it's good when it's a dull gray. Nice coating. Better than that is how it works. You can still tell that the rifle is dry but it makes no change in how slick it is. I would have no problem taking it through an advanced course right now. No oil just grab it and go. The buffer and spring is totally silent. I mean TOTALLY silent. The only thing you can hear is the bolt opening and closing. Yeah it's that quiet. Now that I'm completely redundant I think you get the point. This treatment will still help in cleaning. As you can tell from how slick it is, nothing really sticks to this stuff. That being said, baked on carbon is baked on carbon. A touch of oil every (aprox) 1000 rounds will help keep the carbon floating away from the parts.

When you have this service done the parts are cleaned and degreased before application so it comes back to you literally ready for the range. Unless you are shooting dirty/corrosive ammo I wouldn't clean the rifle until you have several hundred rounds, or more, through it. The more you shoot it before cleaning the more you work the treatment into the pores of the metal.

For the ST-1 Treatment all you need to send in is your bolt/carrier group, charging handle, buffer with spring. The cost on this service is $50.00 and is available now. If you're interested just send me an email at crusaderceo@gmail.com

Our ST-2 and ST-3 treatments are coming soon.

I'll be sending mine! I was content just using the kits I have, but if it gets rid of buffer noise, I'm sold.

Question 1. Can you do my CMMG .22LR conversion BCG as well?

Question 2. What is the difference between the ST-1 and the ST-2/3? Not really concerned about price, since that's probably the part that's "coming soon," more interested in the additional benefits over the -1.

1. Yes. No problem at all send the same parts and it's a done deal.

2. The difference between the three treatments varies. #3 is our pistol treatment. Same process just a lot more take down and small parts coating. #2 is a more extensive version for rifles which will include the trigger group and inside the receivers.

Shipping NOT included, I'd venture.  If/when I send in my AR parts, I'll go the easy route and purchase a flat-rate box and stuff the return shipping labels inside.  Easy-peasy.

Oh, my M14 needs this. It simply has too much real estate to economically keep treating with regular Slipstream grease and oil. A permanent treatment makes much more sense.

That's correct. Shipping is not included. I'll look forward to your parts showing up some time.

I knew this treatment was going to be good.
I didn't know it was going to be THAT GOOD.  Gundoc showed me his pet Stag AR that he had blessed with "The Treatment".  Unbelievable.  I remembered the gun from the last carbine course, and it was slick.  After the treatment, it was a completely different weapon... slick and silent and completely and utterly BONE DRY.  I had to open it up and check... not a drop of lube in it... and it was the slickest I've ever felt.  This was a transformation you have to feel to believe.
I left Gundoc my own M4 for this treatment.

Done. Glad you thought of it. I didn't think about it on mine until it was done. I'll bet my butt around today and get to work with the camera.

IMHO, you need to rig up a pull weight (something using a trigger gage) to put on the bolt, or slide, and or trigger and then measure actual weight before and after to see and print figures that show the  improvement in force needed to work the action and trigger pull.
With my pistols in hand I can tell the difference by feel and sound, but that is subjective.  You could have three points, out of the box, after the treatment, and after a couple of hundred rounds down range.

We can look into that. I doubt the weight will be much different though. You still have a lot of spring pressure to overcome. There's the buffer and hammer springs who's weight wont change no matter how little friction they encounter.

It's the same stuff that makes Slipstream so great. With the treatment it's simply applied by itself at 120psi.

Dude, I just watched the video on madogre.com. I'm sold.

I just gotta decide whether to send all my guns now, or wait and tailor the treatments to the guns once all the levels are available. Like, I really don't need to permanently treat my crappy stock AR trigger, especially if I'm thinking of replacing it.

I also don't know if I can part with my Sigs long enough to get the treatment. That would leave me with my Keltec as my only carry option...

What's the turn-around time expected to be for these treatments? Are we talking weeks or months?

How about DAYS? I should be able to have it shipped back to you within 2-3 days. The ones like the AR you don't want the lower done on all you need to send it the bolt/carrier group, charging handle, and buffer/spring. If you sent it Monday I could have that done and back to you by the end of the week.

I'll probably send the AR stuff, plus the extra .22LR BCG after I do that other test I talked to you about.

Same amount of time for a pistol?

I started a new thread about the shipping here, cuz you guys aren't the only folks that do ship-your-gun-in type work. Figured that could be its own topic.

That's what I wanted to read. I have an M14, an 870, and a 1911 that need your magic, especially the 870. I have never been very good on their "care and feeding". The question is deciding which one is first.

Hmmm, I'm looking into reloading the 357 Sig in the future.  So instead of sending a set of three steel dies to CH4 for TiNi treatment at about $50  could you Slipstream a set of 3 steel Lee dies for a total of $50?

Let me know which surfaces you want coated and yes we can do that for you at $50.
