That first guy really knew how to bang 'em down.

I would like to give that one a try.

Is it motorized? It doesn't rotate logically, like a Texas Star does. The side with more plates was often going up... Hmmmmm

Looks balanced by the plates... As you kill the plates you unbalance it. Sending it whirling!
What a hoot!

"Oh baby... Let's play!"
"Are you ready..."
"Barely!"

Evenly balanced, to start with, but with heavy weights held by gravity only on each end.  Unbalance it enough, and one of those drops off, spinning the whole thing.  And agreed, that looks like a kick to shoot!

The first guy in the video is Jerry Miculek.

It took me two days to finally make sense of that. I didn't realize there were actually weights on the ends. I thought it was just balanced by the weight of the plates, and couldn't figure out why the side with more plates was going UP. bang head

Hi Guy!..........sixinch here ( the evil mind that created the "Polish Plate Rack"). It look like you enjoyed the video. It took me 6 years to develope this monster. I shoot USPSA and the reason it took a while to get to where it is today is so that a production gun (125pf) and an open gun (170pf) had the same opportunity to compete. It has now been approved for USPSA Competition. The Video you saw was from the "Memphis Charity Challange", which was a "Revolver only" match and all of the proceeds went to St Judes childerns hospital in Memphis. Hope you guys don't mind me posting on your site, but if I can help with any questions or comments...........fire away..........sixinch                     ( huckinfarley@q.com )

I've not shot that rack... but already I hate that thing.  I hate the Star - but I think I hate this one more.

It's like the bastard child of a texas star and a plate rack.  If I shoot at it, I'm borrowing somebody's hi-cap 9mm for the task.

This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty...
The right of self defense is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible.  Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction.

Unfortunately Action Pistol won't let me carry a back up.  I was thinking of a S&W 500 just to shoot the star in the center ...  Devil LOL

Ok "Hulk Hogan" I'm not! Until just recently I was part of that "Bottom Feeder" crowd shooting an STI long slide (6 inch) and the name just kinda stuck! I was lucky enough to shoot the Memphis Charity Challange and had Jerry Mickulic jump ship and come shoot on our squad. So for now I packin' on of those "wheel Guns"!.............sixinch

Sixinch,

This definitely looks cool.  How much does this thing weigh?  It looks like a lot of steel.  Is it easily transportable?  Looks like the plates get shot off.  Would I be able to transport this think in a Toyota Avalon or Honda Accord?  My main concern is the long bar.
