How does it make Mosins shoot?

What about pump actions, would you use the grease or the oil?

I used Hoppes oil before I discovered Slipstream. Not terrible oil, but its not even close to Slipstream.

I haven't actually applied it to my Mosins. I've been adding Slipstream to my guns as I clean them...which I don't do to Mosins. The most I do is water and Windex in copious amounts down the bore, followed by a bunch of WD-40, and that's only after I shoot corrosive ammo.

 I also don't expect to see drastic improvements on a Mosin, unless you get it deep inside the bolt. Both of mine have smooth actions after a couple hundred rounds, and only occasionally require the 2x4 treatment. They're stiff, but not rough. Might have to try it sometime.

For big, metal-on-metal friction areas, I think the grease is recommended. That's what I use on slide rails, and bolt rails. I use the oil in tighter spots, like trigger group parts where you want better penetration. Made my P226 trigger sing.

I got my slipstream this last week. It is pretty nice stuff. Hopefully, I can get out and test it some in the next few weeks.

I gotta clean and degrease the M&P for the 2000 round endurance test with Slipstream.

I applied the grease to my 1911 in 9x23. The grease is good stuff. It is very slick. I also like that it is thick and sticks to the rails well. The gun was very slick to begin with so hopefully I can tell more as time goes on and more rounds go down range. 

The wife got her H&K USP in 40 lubed in Slipstream. The gun is already pretty slick and has not been worked much since the lubing. It does seem to be getting better the more cycles it goes through.

The Beretta 96 that I have had since I was 20 seems to love the stuff the most. There was an audible difference even when just lubed with the oil. I plan on greasing the rails on it soon.

You would actually get a huge gain on a Flintlock or anything with a big side hammer.  Take the gun apart and put the Slipstream Grease under the hammers, under the whole area that rotates... in the trigger mechanism... You'll feel a huge difference.

This isn't much of a review yet, but here's some First Impressions by ZeroTA:

On my Dan Wesson CBOB, I greased the rails. I knew I put it on thick, but I think I put it on a bit too thick as it seems to actually be harder to cycle and slower to go into battery when I release the slide. I also have grease coming out the back of the frame. So, hopefully a few mags through will clear it out and get me back in tip-top shape.

Then,there's my Dan Wesson PM-1. Now I was prepared to be unimpressed with Slipstream. I have used FP-10 for years with no problems and recommended it to everyone who asked and a lot of people who didn't, as firearms aficionados are wont to do. I field stripped it and hit everything that touched something else with Slipstream oil. Put a few drops on the slide and frame rails,slapped 'er back together and cycled it about 50 times.

There's not really a word for it...I mean it's slick, but it's almost like there's no friction. Now I'm no expert but I'm no rookie either, I know what a 1911 ought to feel like when you cycle the slide. And this feels downright weird. Count me as impressed. Next up, this and my DW Patriot is getting buck naked and we're having a Slipstream party.

I used it on the fire control area of my H&K P2000 and all metal/metal contact areas.  It made a noticeable difference!  I will be using it on all my guns as I clean them.  My next order will include the grease.

Worked the 1911's some more tonight. Definitely a huge and obvious difference. I put a few drops into my Benchmade 9050SBK and it's slick. Oh so slick. I am overly giddy about Slipstream. At this rate I'll take a 55 gallon drum please.

I think I'm impressed because I was expecting to be unimpressed. But this is not oil. Not at all. It is some form of demon magic.

I put it on a bunch of my knives today. metal-on-metal, metal-on-plastic, switchblades, lock-blades, assisted open knives and multi-tools. I'm impressed once again. Smooth as ball-bearings.

One can put on too much grease.  Which is why a grease and oil combination just flat out wins.  I'll apply the grease with a Q-Tip on the slide and then oil on the rails on the frame.  Slicker than slick.

I agree.  The grease/oil combo is amazing.  I highly recommend it.

I've had my new needle-tipped kit sitting on my coffee table for a few days, lubing everything I can think of. Four cheap knives and a Gerber Diesel have been treated. I keep loving Slipstream more and more.

My friend came over today.  He has a Springfield 1911 GI, and he also brought his dad's Ruger 10/22.  He has had issues with his 1911 jamming, we think it may be a magazine issue, but not sure yet.  We will be firing it tomorrow and we'll get down to the bottom of it, hopefully.  We had it lubed with Lubriplate, which is pretty slick grease, but we decided to give it the best it can have, and cleaned it out then put Slipstream in its place.  It was pretty slick with the Lubriplate, but yet again, the Slipstream rocked its world and came out even more slick.  He was quite impressed by it.  The grease/oil combo on the slide is simply incredible.  Kudos to Crusader for pointing me in that direction!

On to the 10/22.  So he brought up the gun because his dad never, and I mean NEVER cleans his guns.  I looked into the receiver and decided we should pull the gun apart.  We ended up pulling everything out, but didn't disassemble the trigger assembly.  It was a hideous scene indeed.  The gun has seen most likely thousands of rounds with no cleaning, and no lubricant at all.  My friend said the last time he had it out, it was so frustrating to shoot that he gave up on it.  There was so much fouling throughout the entire system that I'm shocked anything functioned at all.  The inside was completely dry and sounded like someone had dumped a truck full of sand into the action.  I was like   .  And then I was like   with a little bit of   .  I have never seen a gun so caked with junk, and so  uncared for.  We cleaned out everything.  I wanted to make sure that the gun would be well lubed for a long time, since I was pretty sure it would probably not be cleaned for a long time afterward, so I kept the gun oil in the drawer and applied Slipstream to everything.  Once applied, and with the gun put back together the gun felt BETTER than a new one.  The nasty grit feel was gone.  The action was smoother than smooth.  My friend was all giggly and shocked at how astonishing it was.

Serious Kudos go out to Crusader for giving us this stunning lubricant.  Thanks a ton for the Slipstream.

My friend with the 10/22 and I went out west of Utah Lake today to do some shooting. After putting Slipstream in the 10/22 as stated in the previous post we put a few rounds through it. Not even a hiccup. It worked flawlessly. We were both all grins.   Here is a video of the 10/22 shooting two 30 round mags. He thought it jammed once, but it hadn't, and he kept shooting it with no problems.
