We’re going to do our AR-15 upgrade packages a couple ways. (This was just decided yesterday so give me a little time to get it priced out and on our website) We will do a full upgrade and add the correct Noveske barrel and bolt carrier group. This is called our “Convert” package. The next way will use your existing barrel and bolt carrier group saving you a ton. This package is simply called “BC”. Are the Noveske parts worth it. In my mind…ABSOLUTELY. Are they in everyone’s price range…not always. We want everyone to be able to have a Crusader rifle so these packages are the way to go so stay tuned. One thing I will tell you now is that all the packages will include our permanent Slipstream Treatment.  We can do these packages at any time but they will take a couple weeks to get them up on the site.

These Noveske barrels are the cat's meow... very accurate, but with a good solid increase in velocity.  Worth every penny.   If I had a Bushmaster, DPMS, Double Star... any of these production rifles...  Get the Convert Package - BAM.  You have a custom gun that can go toe to toe with ANY high end custom built gun.  Well... because then - you would have one.

So...my RRA upper on a DPMS lower could hang with the big boys?

Your gun would look at other big name guns... and scoff them.
Your gun would be able to count to infinity - twice.
Your gun wouldn't sleep - it would wait.

Poetry dude. Love it and very true. Other big name guns would bow to its greatness as you walk by.

Huh. I gotta see what the prices are gonna be then. I've been thinking about getting a better AR, but it looks like I can get a better gun by upgrading what I've got already. Hmmmm......

What are you looking for it to come out as? I'm working on the prices right now and can quote you on the models I've finished.

Well like I said , I have a DPMS lower and an RRA 16" mid-length A4 upper. Totally stock and completely acceptable as-is, I've not had any problems with it but I also know it's not the World's Finest.

This is kind of the end result I wanted. I have to look at the most affordable way of getting there - whether it's upgrading what I've got, leaving my current gun as-is and putting parts on new receivers, or just buying a new gun outright. You guys can put the Slipstream Treatment on it too so that's a huge plus for getting a rifle through Crusader, whichever route I choose.

That's a Guardian. Not a problem. We're doing 2 versions basically a light and complete versions. To buy a Guardian it's $1750. For the Convert package it's $1035.95. The BC (Bastard Child) version that uses your barrel and bolt carrier is $535.95

 Shocked

At those prices wouldn't you almost be as well off buying a Crusader firearm outright?  I dunno...just looked at the price dif and... Shrug

That's what I thought too, and I think it's a better deal for me at least. $1035 gets me a badass Crudaser conversion on a DPMS lower, and a bunch of parts left over which I will probably never use (I assume we get our parts back). You could sell the parts and recover a couple hundred, but knowing me I probably wouldn't "just in case I need them". I have a drawer full of 1911 parts for that exact reason. Smiley So $1000 later and I've still got one gun.

Another $700 and I've got two AR's: a new badass Crusader with the sword and shield (cosmetic I know, but I'm shallow like that), and I still have my current one which already cost me $850 to begin with (350 lower, 500 upper).
