Hi guys Grin
New guy checking in.
Just found out about this place yesterday and it looks pretty cool.
I'm 25 and been shooting before I can remember. Born and raised around firearms down in TN. Moved to Evansville, IN back in 1993. I love it here, beautiful land.
I have an Assoc. in Electrical Engineering and work in the Telecomm/IT field.
I shoot and own all kinds of guns from rifled muskets to EBR's. I have shot some competitions in trap shooting but thats my only formal experience in competitions.

See ya guys around!! Tongue

I've just discovered this place and thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm a 48-year-old husband, father, grandfather ... and daily gun carrier.  My wife, daughter, and son are also daily gun carriers.  We all understand that when seconds count, the government is only minutes and miles away.  I OC when allowed, CC when necessary or prudent.

I was a sheep until April 16, 2007 - the Virginia Tech massacre.  That single event became my epiphany, my change from sheep to sheepdog.

I carry a Taurus PT1911 as primary, and a Kel-Tec P-3AT as a BUG.  At home is a Remington 870, a Romanian AK, a metal baseball bat, a length of shielded copper cable, and four dogs.

I am a member of the NRA, and an active member of GeorgiaCarry.Org.

Greetings from the great commonwealth of Virginny.

Little bit about myself: I am active duty Navy...and as a result, I have lived all up and down the west coast. My lovely wife and I are now working our way down the east coast.

Hoping to become a long and good standing member of a lively forum.

New guy checking in from the Virginia side of D.C. (having escaped the Peoples Republik of Maryland a few years back).

Found this site cuz I am a regular reader of Mad Ogre and more recently Monster Hunter Nation.

I've been shooting since I was a kid. I am an NRA certified pistol instructor. VCDL member. I run a small RPG publishing company part time. I never go anywhere without my P3AT, but have bigger, better stuff on hand if I need it.

Loved MHI, can't wait for the mass market release.  My copy is dog-eared from lending out.

Looking forward to posting and reading here!

I posted this in another thread, so I pasted it over here as it seems to be the intro sticky.

grampster here.  Been around the innertube since 2000 when I found TAC, then to TFL, then to THR and APS.  Met lots of good people over that time.  Never in person yet, but good times and banter.  One of these days, maybe I'll stumble across one of you'ens.

I like the set up.  Grey background and white print.  Easy on the eye.  Nice selection of things to play with up above as well.

I'm ex LE and retired from the insurance bidniss.  I live in W. Michigan on a lake.  Lots of nice country hereabouts, but getting to be too many people.  Been playing with guns since I was a kid.  I'm 65 now and still like to shoot now and again.  Been running some ammo through my new Walther PPK the last couple days.  Fun.  Pretty much had my fill of hunting game and generally just plink with a variety of weapons I've collected over the years.

Happy to be aboard.  Oh, and I'm a certified, patched MHI member.  I got my autygraphed book to prove it. Grin  Waiting for the sequel.

Nice to see some old friends and happy to meet some new ones.

We ll met WETA folks, the names fiacha, a washington state transplant to the great republic off texas, I have been surfing the ogres turf and reading up on FBMG for a couple years now.  Just  a quick hello =)

Suggestions on topic pages maybe locked for approved submissions that moderator could clear and post? The first being  training ? Haveing read similier blogs for awhile sometimes its hard to dig in a pull out good information, but a simple to find forum that had real articles either posted froom other sources with documentation and ref.. or member created articles to help their fellow trouble makers ...  Training could be everything from basic first aid and resources, to bug out bags and water storage, to cleaning the swiss army bottle opener.  Responsible articles that take in different opinions and try and inform on the 5Ws on a subject?

The second is humor good humor and cartoons, there are lots of great political cartoons out there, that are weapon related and jokes and silly stories , that people could check out?

Thanks for all the hard work out there putting this togethor .

 Hi everyone,

I am Mrs. Armoredman. Y'all more than likely know me from other boards. Well I have been a shooter for 11 years or so. I have a 8 year old son plus 4 cats and 4 dogs. My husband is a great man and we have been married for 10 years. I own 2 cz's. One is a 2075 Rami in 9mm the other is a CZ PCR 9mm. They both are great shooters and they stay close by my side.

The right to defend our lives and the lives of our loved ones is one of the "inalienable" rights our Founding Fathers deemed most precious.
