I really like those Firestars with the starvel finish.  The one they have at our shop looks like it had been spray painted (or maybe even brush painted) a very horrible black.
How does it shoot?

Shoots great. It is relatively heavy which softens the 40's sharp kick. I have fairly small hands and it fits them well. Also love the Starvel finish.

Very nice.
I almost picked one up right after I bought my Astra but it was gone by the time I came back.

Here are two more pics of my alternate EDC's:

The Beretta is my EDC for work and The SP101 is for Hot day Shorts and T-shirt carry, Since My M1911A1 might be a bit to large at times.

A question for you guys with multiple carry pieces:

I own a couple pairs of expensive sunglasses (a little indulgence + protection from harmful UV), but I pick a pair to wear depending on my mood that day.

Is it the same way for carry pieces?  I.e. I know today is going to be a good day therefore I'll carry my .45...

A side by side comparison.  I was kind of surprised how close they were dimensionally.

well as for multiple carry pieces for me it depends on what I am doing, My post of my 1911 is the same gun just two different holsters. The Beretta i carry at work, My SP101 is for those days where the 1911 would just print to much. But then it might just be the which one do i carry today problem?.

Glock 19.  Shown here after literally being submerged in water for 3 hours ( kayaking).  I shot 2 mags through to clear the water out.

Since It's late and I'm awake..

Not my personal piece, but a good match..  I like the though of having a tiny little airweight that still has a single action option.  the 642 isn't a bad piece, I just aint crazy about DAO.

I am a little late in the game on this one, but here it is:

Colt 1991A1 Commander, Galco NSA holster, Galco single mag carrier.  The pistol is parkerized instead of blued (just to be different).

For most of the folk I know, it's more of a question of "which is easier and more comfortable to conceal given my clothing choice today?"

My primary CCW is my Colt Commander.  It is the pistol that I carry 80% of the time.

My Cobra has become my go-to gun when the situation dictates something a bit smaller or I just want to throw something in my pocket.

I use the P7 once a week or so just because it is neat and it is an excuse to to shoot it Grin

I know that isn't the ideal battery, but it is what I have.  It would be best if two or all of my guns were in the same configuration (say a Commander, a Defender, and a small .38 or a trio of Glocks) to simply the manual of arms .

Kimber Pro-Carry II .45 and a Ruger SP-101 flavored in .357 mag.

Copycat.

Carried a Detonics Combat Master before I got the SP101.  The Combat Master's future is uncertain now.  I'd like to keep it, because it's a neat little gun, but I'd also like the money I could maybe get for it to spend on something I would shoot more.

But I'd also like to keep it.  Life is hard.

Well my normal carry is my old beater 1911, with a couple extra mags weak side.

Bug/Other primary carry depending on conditions my PT145(really was my primary carry until I got into holsters and realized I could carry a full frame without a weekly chiropractor visit, now it's my 1911 everyday)
