My favorite revolver is my 2.5" Model 19.
My EDC is my 442.

I like those little centennial snub nose revolvers. I've been thinking about picking one up myself.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

I completed the last (of three) two week trials of EDC'ing the Match Champion for a comparison study (just for the mental exercise) between it and the Wiley Clapp.
      The result?
If I were still allowed to carry a revolver on duty (and wasn't restricted to Dept. issue), then the Match Champ would be my service pistol while in uniform, in a NYC minute.....
But for EDC/Off-duty the Wiley Clapp is, without a doubt, the best EDC revolver I've owned, bar none.

Eh, you'll have to check them out side by side, so you can have a more informed opinion as you accumulate your research. My brain damaged opinion is simply just that, damaged and mine. HAHAHA! Most people I've spoken with like the Match Champ better... :shrug
