So I went to the store today to buy my new G19. They know I am a LEO and priced me out a standard sites blue label Glock 19. This, according to Glock is priced at $398. They told me a price of $450.
Um... NO the price per Glock should be $398 for the model I asked for.
"Oh, no, that's not a current price for those".
"Would you like me to go home and print out the nice Email from Glock's LEO price rep I recieved 2 days ago ?"
"ERRR umm well actually thats my price from the distributor, were not a stocking LEO dealer anymore so we have to go through a distributor. You can order it from another place but by the time you paid for the shipping and FFL transfer it would only be 3 dollars cheaper. But would take longer"
So I told them I had to think about it and walked out. Now after researching, NONE of the other gun dealers within 700 miles are "stocking dealers" anymore.
So is it just me or am I getting bent over and treated like an idiot?
Its still a good price but not what its supposed to be. Looks like I will be paying the price but it still irritates me that they tried to pull one by saying, "Oh that's the new price" game on me. They lost my business after tomorrow I believe.
