If you see a S&W 3953...

If any of yall run across a S&W 3953 in a local store, I'd appreciate a heads up. My wife shot one a friend had and now wants one but there are none on gunbroker and none of the shops around here have one.

    Great guns.  Give the guy at www.summitgunbroker.com a call.  He has a large selection that he does not have on the site.  You may also want to have her look at the S&W shield.  Same size but lighter weight, same round counts etc..... I have shot both and the 3953 is the smoother shooting gun, and has a remarkable trigger.  For any type of carry though and I would pick the shield.  I will keep an eye out for you.

    I had a feeling that might be the case.  If you can find a 3913 it is the same gun but with a safety and a DA/SA trigger.
