I'm in the house, small old timer pocket knife, cell phone, set of keys.    within close range are, 2 very large dogs laying at my feet and pistols (never more that a couple of steps)  by my chair, the front door, bedroom closet and nightstand.

I thought I was the only one to try to keep a gun in every room of the house (especially because I live alone). I'm glad that that practice isn't considered too "weird" around these parts.

This is not far off of my situation.  Being a knife nut, I currently have 3 pocket knives on me.  In the next room are Collins machete and an Ontario Marine Raider bowie.  We are down to one dog at this point but he's a good one.  As you wander through the house, assuming you know where to look, you'll encounter a D frame Colt .38 special revolver, a K frame S&W .357 magnum revolver and a 12 gauge coach gun. :coffee

Bench made mini griptillian, Kahr p380, 4sevens flashlight. Bedroom, G21 and 12 ga. Next room, 870 sbs, and in the next is the gun safe. 2 very loud watch dogs, and by that I mean they will watch everything. They won't do do anything about it, but they'll watch. Oh well, at least they sound mean.

Spent most of the day staring at stuff in the garage, trying to figure out how everything's going to parse out and get set up, so I made do with the Kershaw Brawler & the Browning Wild Child karambit (picked up for $20 back in January... I liked that it wasn't a talon blade design, has more utility to it. I do however, feel the urge to give it a different sheath.).

It's the same model Sarge has here:

I think I'd ordered it, like, a *week* before he posted that pic, so I was a little tickled.

I was also *really* disappointed that the other knife I ordered that week failed to arrive - I got an empty envelope instead.  >:(   I'd bought another neck knife from Jeff Siggers, and either it got ejected by a sorting machine, or lifted by someone along the way. Either way, much suckage.

Anyway, as you can see by looking at Sarge's photo, it's not the standard talon karambit blade, but a far more utilitarian modified drop point, but you still have access to most of the same techniques.

I really like the Wild Child too. As for the crappy sheath it came with, I sent you a PM.

I run a loop of 550 cord through the eyelets and wear it all sorts of ways but mostly on my belt on my off side.
