It's a woefully toothless one. It's a delusion of adequacy that makes him seem that way.
I was not under the delusion that you were a supporter of Obama. If the matter is unimportant to you I will be pleased to drop it.
Fair 'nuff. But you really have to come to Chicago to meet the greedy bastards who are in Chicago politics. They pay lip service to "socialism" but the only Robin Hood antics are stealing from the rich and from the poor, and giving to themselves. That is entwined in Obama's DNA.

There's a
REASON I use the term "soft tyranny." Would you like it were we in a hard tyranny? I mean, one like Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, Lenin, et al, maintained. Where if you caused trouble you either died or "disappeared" into psychiatric hospitals, such as happened in the former Soviet Union?

A female black congresswoman giving a speech in California a few days ago refered to specified republicans as "demons." I can't off hand recall her name but the video has made it onto cable tv news.
Now, I know none of this really amounts to a hill of beans, not when compared to what those aforementioned actual tyrants did.
But the stage is being set. The political rhetoric is being geared up. We've yet to have our "Beer Hall putsch" or "enabling act" (although I think Cass Sunstein would be a big fan of this depending on who's in charge) but we're on a road that has a halfway decent chance of taking us there.
I am quit well enough aware of the corruption in Chicago politics. I was alive when Chicago dead people put Kennedy in office. Obama as a "tapeworm" works pretty well....as I said, all of history's tyrants have had their "Eagle's Nests" and their Black Sea dachas.....
