The same here, but he's already achieved one "yuge" worthwhile accomplishment.....he kept HRC and her crime syndicate out of the office this year.
That by itself is worthy of accolades.

It is satirical fun.  For as many people like to call Trump the next Hitler, using a traditional German greeting to welcome him in.  ;)

We greet the Führer (leader)  Hail Victory.

As much as I like to be controversial, I will likely take that part of the signature off after a while.

I have low expecations, simply due to the flood working against him.

However I'm hopefull, it won't be worse than the last 8 years, is definitely better than the comparable 4 years, and things are moving forward in a direction I like thus far.

    http://conservativetribune.com/trump-plan-2nd-amendment/

Basically a synopsis of what they claim is Trump's position paper on the second amendment.  It calls the second amendment our "First Freedom" as it protects the others.  The important part to me is the call to enforce current laws, not just make new ones.  Also includes a suggestion that he will propose national reciprocity.  Nothing I saw on the removal of silencers from the NFA, though.

Despite all the nonsense over the last weekend, I am mildly optimistic.  I have maintained that we the voters need to elect someone other than the usual suspects.  Doing the same things and expecting different results is a definition of crazy.  I don't personally like Trump, at least the trump we have seen on TV, but if a "non-politician" is going to make any changes they will need a powerful personality.

Everything he's been doing has impressed the hell out of me.
Save for 1 thing... We don't have a new FBI Director.  I suspect that he's got a good reason and a plan.   We don't know what that is... but I think there's something going on there.

Director Comey was vital to Trump getting elected.  Why?  Democratic voters did not turn out to vote for HRC, and if they had, she would have won.  Director Comey's 11th hour investigation of Weiner cast new doubts on her honesty, and helped suppress enthusiasm and turnout.  As much as I am liking Big T, I have to be honest about how he got elected.

Trump will keep Director Comey for the same reason that Clinton would have retained AG Lynch. :-\

well he actually has a set term and to get rid of him before his term is up requires more than just politics or wishful thinking.

    meh............. I don't know.

I think that Hillary was already beat by the time Anthony Weiner got exposed along with his wife's lap top. I have family all over the country and the consensus of my family was that PA, WI, NC, FL and OH were going to go Trump during that final week.
Here in SW Mo, NW Arkansas and NE Oklahoma there is some rabid broad based Republican support.
This was my first time voting in Missouri. I live in the poorest county in the State (McDonald) so I was a little taken a back when entering and exiting the polling place by the groups of citizens who had just voted and were discussing the election. I would have expected that the conversations would have been about support for Hillary but instead it was all for trump.
This is a county where Medicaid, the ACA, food stamps, unemployment and SSD are very high. I joined one conversation when I overheard one very vocal anti-Hillary voter express concern that her election would start a civil war and everyone in that group seemed to agree with him.

Person ally, I think we may be headed for a civil war anyways because I am getting just like a lot of other folks in the country, totally fed up with leftist, progressive globalists who are doing everything they can to disrupt the political process.

Matt Bracken (former SEAL and author) has a very strong OpEd concerning his fear of an approaching Civil War on Western Rifle Shooters right now:
    https://westernrifleshooters.wordpress.com/2017/01/22/bracken-sends-98/

I like everything Bracken writes. There is a lot on Western Rifle Shooters right now concerning the building angst of traditional conservatives. I get the feeling that the long simmering conservative potential backlash may be coming to a boil.

BLM and other SJWs may want to scale back a lot this year because if they push past a certain point it's going to be real hard to stop the ensuing violence

I agree that the support for Trump was there.  In SW PA, the ratio of political yard signs was 6-1 Trump.  Normal presidential elections are 1-1 for each party.  So trust me, I understand that he had support.  I still think that it was a Clinton loss, rather than a Trump win.  He got his people out, because they were excited to vote for him, and she just didn't.  At least not in the states that mattered, as she still won the popular vote.  Still, PA could have easily swung the other way if there had been greater minority turnout.  Not a pleasant thought... :vomit

If the government even tries to stop the backlash.  AG Sessions is likely to be far less understanding or tolerant of the bulls___, than Holder or Lynch were.

My county here in MT went republican this year.   First in......a LONG time.     We have a local Indian reservation so that is a BIG surprise it went red rather than blue.    Vote numbers are about the same, I'm unsure if the regulars didn't go vote, or if a lot of people who sat on the sidelines went in and voted or a combination of both.

Embellishment? They had some pretty good one's of his insults, which one did they miss?

Besides, no punishment could be worse than how I already feel for posting something a few months old. I thought it was something new  :facepalm.
