Summer Shooting.

I don't know about him, but I have.  I used to use them as my primary ammunition supplier, and bought both new and remanufactured loads.  It is made to a price point, and I have found damaged/ deformed rounds before.  If you want cheap ammo to 'stack deep' to sell during the next ban scare... I wouldn't even buy FM for that.  Buy in bulk and you can beat their prices, and have better ammo that would fetch a higher price.

Mine, I am trying to shoot it off and then I will be done with them.  Everything I buy in new these days is of better quality.
I haven't had issues like that with their ammo before. I've used their reman ammo, new ammo, and Hush lines. I think I've had an issue with maybe one round out of thousands.

I've ordered from FM before. Not a lot (maybe a case or two of 9mm) because I don't shoot nearly as much as I used to, but I've never had a problem with it.

I didn't say I found them regularly, but did occasionally, over a few thousand.  In my experience, a higher percentage than I have found with big name factory rounds.

FWIW,   Poor QC is one reason I don't buy Rem-UMC........

Rounds with no flash hole, rounds with no powder, oblong bullets, uncrimped rounds.......Not a HUGE amount but enough that it's noticeable compared to other brands.

Check out GeorgiaArms for their Can of Heat ammo deals. I've had good luck with their bulk ammo in .38, .40, 9mm, and .45
