    Kaso,
Looks like something I would do.  ;)

Currently a Model 10 snub-nose, with a Case Caliber, lightweight locking knife.
I do prefer carbon steel blades, so I also often have a Case Peanut, yellow handles and CV steel. Then again I may have a Case Slimline Trapper, or Case Sodbuster Jr., again yellow handles and CV blades.

Then again I do sometimes carry a Dozier with a clip, or Kim Breed's "Three Finger knife", or his "neck knife" both of these are custom made, and again have carbon steel blades.

    Always knife? Victorinox SD Classic.

That's a great Classic set-up you've got there Kaso. The square butt 2"K-frame is a great sidearm. Back in the 1980's I was infrequently issued one from time to time, it had a Tyler T-Grip on it. I really liked it, I felt like Mannix when I had it.  :rotfl

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

My current carry self-defense tools (Sabre Red not pictured). I'll need to take an updated picture: the P232 is now sporting a set of factory plastic grips instead of the SIGARMS-marked Hogues.

It looks big because it is a K-frame.  Model 10-5, 2" barrel.  Loaded with standard-pressure 135gr (iirc) Hornady XTPs.  Carried, of course, in a superb Adam's Texas.

The knife is a Buck 110 with a (formerly) mirror-polished blade and Koa wood scales.

So, yep, pretty old-school.  That was part of the joke.  When I was communicating with Alone, he expressed wonder/disbelief at my claims that I was 24 years old, and carried a K-frame snub.  ;)

So it IS a 6 shot. If they made that today I'd buy one. I want a six shot .38 snub with a square butt. You know, since Colt won't pony up and make DA revolvers again.
