I've thought of that. Women always have jewelry, cookware, makeup or candle parties; guys should have ammo parties, where we all get together and order ammo or AR parts.

For me, I bought 15 Magpul Glock mags. You never have enough ammo, but from a practical standpoint I actually do have enough for a while.

What capacity?   I was going to get some 21 round magpul glock magazines but they went OOS as quick as they came in in a few places.  Wanting to ditch some of my ETS 31 rounders for a more compact handling of the 21's.

One Source Tactical had 21's, IDK if they still do. I bought 10 G17 mags and 5 G19 (I've already got a bunch of 19 mags but why not).

Won an auction on the TNW 45ACP carbine I've been wanting.  I may need more ammo for it.

IllinoisThere’s a story about a turtle and a scorpion. Scorpion is stranded on a river bank. Turtle sees this and asks Scorpion to get on his back and he’ll take him across the river. Scorpion gets on Turtle’s back and they go into the river. When they’re about halfway across, Scorpion stings Turtle. As Turtle is sinking, knowing they’re both going to die, he asks Scorpion "Why did you sting me, we’re both going to die?" and Scorpion says "It’s not my fault; it’s what I am."

That price is below MAP.  MAP is supposed to be $18.95 for those.

Why not a lockable Ridgeback rack? They seem fairly secure and affordable.

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

I haven't bought anything. In months.

I almost bought an upper, a case of .223, and a bunch of mags the other night. Bought Jeep wheels instead.

I stocked up when stuff was cheap. I bought low, and maybe I'll sell a little bit high.

I just ordered a case of .223 ammo for some coworkers.  Only 1000 rounds between the two of them.  I told them, "That's it?"   They don't reload and apparently they don't shoot either as they feel that 1 case will last them a while.  1 Case would only last maybe 2 outings for most of us.  Plus, how can you NOT reload in this political environment.

    Easy.  Don't want to.

And 1k rounds lasts me for a while too.  I'm just not stupid, so I order more than I will use for several years.

Same here. I've got a couple thousand rounds of 9mm. It'll last a while...I'm on pace to shoot 3000 this year, which is a little low for me. Just been busy.

Meanwhile, I barely shoot rifles. 1000 rounds will last a long time, if I do run out, it might cost a little bit but I can order more. Usually when I get down to about 1000 rounds I order 1000 more, but I might not even shoot that much in a year. I might only shoot a rifle every couple months. And I've no intention of being a One Man Freedom Force when things go down the crapper.

Palmetto Armory had one of their Federal 1,000 case of 55 gr .223 plus 10 Pmags for $399.00 so I jumped at that....again.

I have a lot of ammo but believe that a good deal is always just that, a good deal.

I am not, but the safe bet says so.  The MSM is neglecting the Trump enthusiasm vote, especially here in PA - a vital state.  I already mentioned to a member privately, if we were to have a Bad storm over the Philly area on Nov. 8, the so-so democrats would stay home and the Solid Trump majority in the rest of the state would easily carry it Red.

Had the same deal today (or this weekend) but with a  60rnd magpul drum instead of the pmags. If they had it with free shipping I would have had to do it just for gigs and shizles.

Added another case of German 7.62x51 ammo.   I'm still looking for a good deal on a 20" AR upper.   Just haven't seen one that was exactly what I wanted yet since everyone is still selling the shorter ones.   Plenty of 16" and shorter stuff out there.  Really are there than many people building 7"-10" AR pistols?   Seems like everyone has tons of super short ones for sale.

    1000 rds 9mm
250 rds 300 BLK  (need more)

Also bought a Remington AAC Micro 7 300 BLK plus a Trijicon AccuPower 1-4X24 optic.  The main reason is that I don't want my AR to be my only rifle chambered for that caliber, plus I like the little gun.  I can share my suppressor between the two rifles as well.

The fact that buying has been going on since 2012, and even to a lesser extent since 2008 might have something to do with that.

Yes.  We have been manufacturing arms at record rates these past years, so the market is well stocked.

We could have a panic.  A Clinton presidency will cause sales to increase even more.  A Trump?  Probably not.  But I still can't see the market falling out.  There is no 'arms bubble,' as even the ARs and such are sold at such low margins.  Even if Trump is in the white house, ARs will still be selling strong.

IF come tomorrow, we have HRC + 51 Democrats in the senate, some will panic.  The smart ones among us will not.  Why?  Nothing is going to change on 01/20/2017.  Even a clean sweep by democrats will only mean that such legislation will come up for an up or down vote, and let's be honest, gun control is not the top item on anybody's election platform.  As well, many rural and western Democratic representatives still have to tread verrry lightly around guns, so even a blue majority in the House is no guarantee of passage.

IF we get Hillary...  The only real change will be the supreme court is going to suck for a looong time.  But so did it for a long time before, and we lived through it.  The country survived.  As long as our march toward expanding gun rights continues at the state and local level, and most importantly, at the level of individual opinion, we will continue to advance and gain ground.  The federal government can do what they like, but the roots, not the canopy, are what supports the tree.  Win or lose at the federal level today, we are still winning the battles at the roots.
