GuardPro Cases
« on: July 06, 2016, 03:45:42 PM »
So we ran into GuardPro at a Gun Show.  New company, started by a former product engineer from Pelican.
They are much like Pelican, but for about half the price.

Do you know if there are any UK distributors?

I don't think they have any... no.  They are still pretty new and only have a few Dealers.

Nice looking stuff.   I wonder about the lower price though - Design changes?  Lesser materials?  Outsourced manufacturing?    :hmm   How do you think they stack up to the Pelican cases based on your initial impression?

They stack up absolutely just fine.   The lower cost is actually because the Pelicans have an Inflated price.  Because Pelican bought out Storm and had Military Contracts for some things... Pelican is pretty full of themselves.  The only folks I know making this sort of thing that is this arrogant... Is Yeti.
And GuardPro will eventually get into the Cooler Business too.

Got it.  Glad to hear that your opinion of Pelican and Yeti are fairly consistent with my own.   :thumbup1   If GuardPro has a vigorous quality control program and a motivated product development team they will certainly do well as the market could sorely use reasonably priced alternatives.

That's why we became full line dealers.   These are not Cheap cases.  If you want that, there's Plano.  But if you want a good, solid, high quality case - it's been Pelican.  But now you have an option.  These are priced VERY WELL.  It fills that market gap.

Thanks for the heads up .  Might have to contact your place if nobody is carrying them locally.   :thumbup1
