Inexpensive mag pouches for "fun" competition?
« on: November 15, 2014, 06:05:23 PM »
I shot my first club competition a week or so ago, and borrowed mag pouches from a buddy.   Had a great time.   Many had race guns and I'm not interested in that...I shot with my Glock 19.   Any ideas on inexpensive mag pouches, not for CCW, not to go to war, just for fun competition?   It was an USPSA match, but some next year will be IDPA at this range.   A top notch range by the way, it was Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof FL.

What's inexpensive? BladeTech Revolutions are about $20. Nothin' fancy and you could carry with them too, if you can hide a mag OWB.
I'm not saying you should use an M1A for home defense, but I'm also not saying you shouldn't.

Uncle Mike's kydex gear is pretty cheap.  I picked up a couple of these before I got my G-Code gear.

ArizonaCuriously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the Universe than we do now.

These are inexpensive, adjustable, and come with the spacers to fit just about any mag. You can go from 1911 to a big fat .45 doublestack with the same pouch. And they'll grow with you when you do decide to get a real competition gun. And you will.
