.22 Marksmen Challenge - November
« on: November 15, 2014, 09:09:45 PM »
Just got the results back from the competition today. Placed 3rd.  My highest placing ever.  Everything was just clicking.  Love competition with 29 degree weather with crosswinds and snow. Think it worked in my favor.

Nice job.  Looks like it was a fun match despite the weather.

This was our Color race stage.  5 Targets.  5 colors to draw out of the bag.  Shoot your targets in the order that they are drawn out of the bag.  They must be shot in the correct order in order for the timer to stop.  You'll see a couple of guys either forget their order or shoot them out of order and have to continue to engage.  My portion starts at 6:03.

That looks like a lot of fun and congrats on your placement.  Were you shooting a semi auto and what ammo were you using?  I used to compete with my CZ 452 and I did extremely well with it.

I shoot a KIDD 10/22.  I was using SK Standard Plus.  A lot of the other guys like to use Center X.

Swfa 3-15x42.  It's a nice scope. The guy that won the Utah State Sniper Shoot this year also used the scope.

It's a great little scope for $700. It's even better that I got mine for $560 during Black Friday last year.  Might pick up another if they have the same deal this year.

A video of another stage.  This is our Know Your Limits (KYL) stage. We used to do this all prone with a bipod.  We've been mixing it up lately.
