"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

Thomas Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria in Chapter 40 of "On Crimes and Punishment", 1764

Looks like it would be fun, but it is sold out.  Might have to look into it for 2018.

Yeah, think it sells out kind of quickly.  The guy I teach carry classes for talks to Givens quite a bit and he said to sign up early if we wanted to go.  Should be pretty good and at just over $100/day for a 3 day deal the price was right.

The date has been posted for 2018.   Sells out quick so if you're interested I'd jump on it.  A lot of bang for the money, I'm paid up for next year already.
